May is right around the corner, so let’s talk schedule. As most of you know, we’re officially a CrossFit affiliate again! CrossFit LJE is our official name, so don’t be confused when you see that, along with Spartan, on all of our things. Tickets for the games are on sale, for those that are interested. A few changes to the May schedule. You’ll notice that the Insanity classes are no longer on the schedule – at least for now. Give us a month or so to figure out what’s best for everyone, and we’ll revisit this. The great news is with the new CrossFit programming, ALL the classes are accessible to everyone. If early morning is your time, check out the M/T/W/F CrossFit classes. There is always an Express option, so you’ll have lots of choices. We’ve added Mobility Yoga to the schedule, Saturday mornings at 9am! This class is a game changer. If you’re feeling like your day to day movement isn’t what you’d like it to be, come into this class, and we can help. All of the yoga classes on the schedule have mobility in them, but Saturday morning will specifically make use of all of the equipment available to us. We’ll smash, stretch and roll – all the while teaching you things that you can take with you, using in every class.
Some of you have expressed that you signed up for two classes a week, but there might be times you want to up the ante. Guess what? You throw $10 in the drawer and you’ve suddenly become an unlimited member. It’s as easy as that. We’ve talked about this before, but why do we charge $75/month when other CrossFit gyms charge up to $200/month? Because we believe that good fitness training should be available to everyone. There isn’t a single person at the gym who doesn’t work their tails off, making ends meet. We’ve had pressure from the outside to increase our prices. Some people think inexpensive = cheap. Nope. I’ve just been doing this for a very long time and I am sticking to my guns that we remain affordable for EVERYONE.
